JSC “Interregional Distribution Grid Company of Centre and Volga Region”
Interregional Distribution Grid Company (IDGC) of Centre and Volga Region operates electricity distribution in seven regions – Tula, Vladimir, Ivanovo, Kaluga, Kirov, Nizhni Novgorod and Ryazan – as well as Mari-El and Udmurtia (total area of 414,000 km2 and population of 14.4 mln). The company’s market share in these regions is 80.5%. IDGC Center-Volga also ensures that consumers are connected to the electricity infrastructure.
The company was created in 2007 and it is headquartered in Nizhni Novgorod. Its main shareholder is IDGC Holding (in which the state holds 52% of the charter capital). IDGC Center-Volga shares are including on the RTS and MICEX B lists.
The book value of the company’s fixed assets as of end 2008 was $1,321 mln. Its revenues totaled $749 mln, its EBITDA was $147 mln and its net income was $49 mln.
