Chairman, Federal Financial Markets Service (FFMS)
Vladimir Milovidov has headed the Federal Financial Markets Service since May 2007. In 2008, he was named Secretary of the President’s Council on Financial Market Development.
Mr Milovidov spent 10 years working as a consultant and advisor for Prime Ministers. In 2003, he headed The Department of Financial Markets and Privity of the Government.
In May, 2000, Mr Milovidov held the post of Deputy Head of The Federal Commission for Securities Markets and in July of that year he became First Deputy Head of The Federal Commission for Securities Markets.
Mr Milovidov began his career working at the Institute of World Economy and International Relations.
He graduated from Moscow State University with a degree in economics, and did his postgraduate studies at Institute of World Economy and International Relations attached to Academy of Sciences of the USSR, receiving a candidate degree in economics.
