Ambassador, Visiting Scholar at the American Enterprise Institute, previously President of the World Bank and U.S. Deputy Secretary of Defense
Paul Wolfowitz has spent more than three decades as a public servant and educator, including 24 years in US government service under seven presidents, and two years as President of the World Bank.
He studied mathematics and chemistry at Cornell University, where he received his BA, and received his PhD in political science from the University of Chicago. He has taught at Yale and Johns Hopkins University and was Dean of the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies. Mr Wolfowitz is currently a visiting scholar in foreign and defense policy studies at AEI, where he works on foreign policy and economic development issues.
